Video Application Instructions

To submit a video application you will need to upload your video to YouTube and include the URL link (web address) within your video application. In order to upload a video to YouTube, there are just a few simple steps:

Filming your video

Your video can be filmed on your phone, tablet or laptop as long as it is in one of the accepted formats below to upload to YouTube:

• 3GPP
• WebM
• DNxHR
• ProRes
• CineForm
• HEVC (h265)

When filming your responses please read each question (questions are provided below) fully before commencing each response.   This will ensure every video is structured the same allowing reviewers to clearly identify each response.

Please ensure that you stick to the maximum timeframes outlined as any content that surpasses these timeframes will not be assessed by reviewers. The reading of the question before each response is not included in the timeframe.

Process to upload your video

Create Account

Firstly, you will need to create a YouTube account which can be done by using a computer, android device, or iPhone/iPad. Instructions for each are provided below.

Privacy Settings

When selecting the privacy settings for your video please ensure you select ‘unlisted video’. This will only allow people with the URL link to view the video.
